Frequently asked questions

Technical & operational FAQs

Does a Nova Being require an active cloud connection?

No. All perception, natural language understanding, spatial mapping, and motor planning run 100% locally on the dual onboard NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin compute modules. Video streams and spatial maps never leave your premises unless you opt into encrypted remote backups.

How does safety and collision avoidance work around people?

Nova Beings are certified under ISO 13482 (safety requirements for personal care robots). With 128-point capacitive touch sensing, multi-axis torque limits, and a hardware ASIL-D safety coprocessor, the robot enters passive compliance mode within 10 milliseconds on unexpected human contact.

What happens if maintenance or repairs are required?

Every purchase includes 3 years of all-inclusive enterprise care. If any actuator, sensor, or module requires servicing, certified field technicians provide on-site repair or immediate modular replacement within 24–48 hours across North America and Europe.

How is payment processed for full-price purchases?

Checkout runs through the encrypted WooCommerce store via wire transfer, corporate purchase order, or major enterprise credit cards. Once payment is confirmed, your factory serial number and delivery window are locked in immediately.
